i dare not mutter a word;
nor look at you straight in the eye.
simply because im afraid ill give myself away.
youre like some royalty.
and im plain jane.
its so hard to get close to you.
and even if i do,
im afraid of being laughed at.
if worse, by you.
for overestimating myself.
